Derby just turned 10yrs old (April 1, 2013). He finished his championship before he was two with all majors. A big loveable boy, who never met a dog or person that wasn't his friend.
After finishing his AKC Championship title, we went on to compete in Rally where he finished his Rally Intermediate title and was an integral part of ACC NSS 1st Place Rally team, the NERDS, for several years. We had lots of fun training for Barn Hunt, Scent Work, and Nosework where he easily titled in all venues with euthasiusm to spare!
Derby is semi-retired, and now enjoys leisurely days in the sun, swimming weekly, and playing ball.
Barn Hunt fun! Derby doesn't know how to drive "55" and loves his tunnels.
What a handsome dog, such a sweet, soft and pleasing expression.
He's a talker, not very patient when we are getting ready to work searching for odor.
Loves to play ball and will throw the ball back at you and deman a new toss.
